Spinal Physiotherapy
Our Physiotherapists are trained in a variety of spinal assessment methods and treatment techniques. Research has shown that patients whom suffer back pain or spinal conditions lead to altered movement and maladaptive movement patterns which can be responsible and related to their pain.
As part of our assessment our Physiotherapists perform detailed movement analysis of our patients followed by any further special tests and muscle activation and strength tests as required. Our therapists will also view any pertinent scans that may impact on your treatment as well as comprehensive education about your injury and how physiotherapy management can help.
Our programs focus on understanding the injury reducing pain and disability and attaining confidence with movement and often include a core base of Pilates exercise programming building up to general exercise and gym programs as required and able. The goal is to give our patients control as to why and how the injury occurred and strategies to reduce and minimise this in the future.
